Welcome to Mrs. Quinlan's digital portfolio where you can find all the important information about Technology, Engineering, Physics and what's happening.
Why Technology? Technology is an exciting and changing field of science and engineering. This class will stretch your brain and help you engage your curiosity about the world and science around you. Everyone is a engineer, it is all about being curious about the world around you into and inventing practical solutions and applications.
So you found out you have to take Engineering. First you are wondering why you need engineering, the second thought is it's too hard. Have you wondered how your electronic device turns on? Well, if you haven't you are now. Does your energy come from an Hydro-electric dam, a nuclear power plant, or maybe coal-fired power plant? Science, technology and engineering are all around you, everyday and in everything. Next time you get into a moving vehicle and put on sunglasses, just think, "Engineering isn't too hard, it's just solving the world around me." I'll be seeing you in class and get curious!

"The sea is dangerous and its storms terrible, but these obstacles have never been sufficient reason to remain ashore... Unlike the mediocre, intrepid spirits seek victory over those things that seem impossible... It is with an iron will that they will embark on the most daring of all endeavors... to meet the shadowy future without fear and conquer the unknown." -Ferdinand Magellan, Explorer (c. 1520)
